RAI fragments and vintage recordings: the voice meeting radio, from the professionalism of RAI studios to a homemade keepsake from 1978.
RAI archive
Fragments drawn from radio productions made for RAI. Voices, stories, and stagings meant purely for listening: theatre that vanishes into the air.
Radio productions from RAI Trento's program: Harold Pinter and Jean Genet. Two authors, two voices of 20th-century European theatre. Curated by Giovanni Battaglia, directed by Maria Serena Tait. Narrating voice: Alessandro Moschini.
Fragments recovered from audiocassettes: Amedeo Modigliani and John Belushi. A program by Claudio Stringari, directed by Maria Serena Tait. Narrating voice: Alessandro Moschini.
Audio keepsake
These are the early days. More than acting, what we have here is a reading with intent — or at least with enthusiasm. A late-night comedy radio program, hosted by Alberto (his brother) and Paolo (his friend), with a guest appearance by Sandra. The title says it all.
A document that comes from a long way back: recorded in 1978 on Radio Rovereto Stereo, this fragment of a comedy program predates any professional radio ambitions by years. The polish is still a work in progress. The enthusiasm, on the other hand, is already all there.
